With all the media around 'looking back' not only over the last year but also the past decade I decided that it would be fun to do a posting on my year in pictures (or rather slide shows since I can't seem to manage narrowing down the pics).
It started out with a little trip down to Costa Rica to bring in the new year with a little friendship and a little family...
Oh, and soon followed with a spectacular wedding on the beach!
The remainder of the winter was spent training for my first marathon - Vancouver Marathon in early May. It's amazing how I've stopped thinking 10 miles is a long run.
And then it was back to wedding season. First up - a Greek/Filipino wedding in Seattle.
Followed closely by a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and the Coulter wedding.
Food, drinks and fun were all over and now it was time to get down to business. And by business I mean training for the Lake Stevens 70.3.
Shortly thereafter Gabe completed his epic multi-sport event, the Bellingham Traverse (blog post to come if I can convince him to write it up) while I ran support crew.
And it ended with a follow up marathon (Portland), a dose of holiday cheer and a side of Mexican sun.
hey what an awesome year! I think you & Starbuck collectively burned more calories with all of your races than the rest of the country combined. Thanks for sharing these! miss you...xo
